| Manufactured Home Registry | The Manufactured Home Registry is responsible for the administration and regulation of manufactured homes pursuant to the Manufactured Home Act. A manufactured home may not be transported, imported, sold or offered for sale unless it is registered or exempted under the Act. | Community Access Terminals (CATs) are available in Service BC centres. | Mineral Titles Search | Mineral Titles Online (MTO) is an Internet-based mineral titles administration system that allows mineral exploration industry to acquire and maintain a mineral titles by selecting the area on a seamless digital GIS map of British Columbia and pay the associated fees electronically. | Community Access Terminals (CATs) are available in Service BC centres. These Service BC centres are also able to witness signatures, verify identification and accept and forward documents to the Ministry of Employment and Income Assistance. Navigable Waters ![]() |
When the Navigable Waters Protection Division within Transport Canada has determined that a particular activity or development will cause a substantial interference to navigation, the proponent is required to deposit a copy of the planned works at an approved location. The proponent must then advertise that they have done so in order that any further interested members of the public can attend at that location and review the plans. | Service BC centres have been appointed as acceptance agents for the deposit of Navigable Waters Protection Application plans. | In Person |

The Notaries Act is administered by the Ministry of Attorney General. Appointments of a Section 15 Notary Public are made by order of the Attorney General through Order-in-Council. Subject to the restrictions set out in the Notaries Act, a Section 15 Notary Public is empowered to administer oaths, take affidavits, declarations and acknowledgements, attest documents and provide notarial certificates. Many jurisdictions prefer notarized documents rather than those completed by a Commissioner. | Service BC staff are appointed as a Section 15 Notary Public if the community in which they work has less than two full time notaries or solicitors, and the Service BC staff meets the requirements as described in the Act. To date, Service BC staff in the following communities have been appointed as a Section 15 Notary Public:

| Official Anniversary and Birthday Greetings Congratulatory Messages Program | Every year the Congratulatory Messages Program coordinates thousands of official greetings for the residents of British Columbia on significant birthdays and wedding anniversaries. | Community Access Terminals (CATs) are available in Service BC centres. | OneStop Business Registry | Register a business or change a business address, and complete multiple government applications quickly and efficiently. | Forms to register a society or a partnership/proprietorship are available from your local Service BC centre. Various Service BC centres stock Self-Counsel Press forms to register a limited or incorporated company. However, if your local office does not sell Self-Counsel Press publications, you will be able to obtain these forms from a stationery store. A name search may be conducted at a Service BC centre, and usually takes one working day to finalize the transaction. |

| Pesticide Control Exams | Pesticide vendor or application certificates are obtained when candidates pass the appropriate examination set by the Pesticide Management Branch, Ministry of Environment. | Service BC centres provide information and registration forms, book appointments for and invigilate pesticide control examinations. | In Person |
| Provincial Emergency Program | The function of the Provincial Emergency Program (PEP) is to maintain effective awareness, preparedness, response and recovery programs to reduce the human and financial costs of emergencies and disasters. In this role, PEP works closely with local governments, provincial ministries and agencies, federal departments and volunteers | Service BC centres carry a supply of the form "Disaster Financial Assistance Registration of Intent to Claim" forms. This form is used by members of the public who have suffered damage due to an emergency or disaster recognized by PEP, to inform the program of their intent to claim financial assistance. | In Person |
| Public Guardian and Trustee Assistance | The Public Guardian and Trustee is appointed to uphold the legal rights and safeguard the financial and personal care interests of children and adults, and to administer the estates of deceased and missing persons. For children and adults, this involves ensuring adequate legal representation, managing finances, auditing private trustees, investigating reports of financial abuse and making substitute health care decisions. For missing and deceased persons, this protection includes securing assets, administering and distributing estates. | Service BC centres deal with Public Guardian and Trustee related matters confidentially. They report to and obtain assistance from the Public Guardian and Trustee, or the estate or trust officer in the Public Guardian and Trustee's office responsible for the administration of an estate. | In Person |
