| Family Bonus | The BC Family Bonus Program provides non-taxable monthly payments to help low- and modest-income families with the cost of raising children under age 18. | Family Justice Centre | The Family Justice website provides general information about a number of issues of interest to BC couples who have separated or who are about to separate. | Freedom of Information Request | The Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner (OIPC) is independent from government and monitors and enforces British Columbia's Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FOIPPA) and Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA). FIPPA allows access to information held by public bodies (such as ministries, universities and hospitals) and determines how public bodies may collect, use and disclose personal information. PIPA sets out how private organizations (including businesses, charities, associations and labour organizations) may collect, use and disclose personal information. | All Service BC Centres have the applications for freedom of information requests. | In Person |

| Graduated Licensing Program | Since August 4, 1998, anyone applying for their first driver's licence whether they are a teen or an adult enters the Graduated Licensing Program (GLP). A new driver must spend at least 3 years in the program before obtaining a full driver's licence (or 2 years and 6 months if an ICBC-approved driver education course is taken). | Service BC Centres provide front line services for driver's license services in 29 locations throughout the province. | Hunter Number Cards |
BC residents who wish to obtain a Resident Hunting Licence must first complete and pass a hunter safety training course, and then obtain their BC Hunter Number Card. The Conservation and Outdoor Recreation Education (CORE) program is administered by the BC Wildlife Federation. |

| Insurance Corporation of British Columbia | The Insurance Corporation of British Columbia (ICBC) is a provincial Crown corporation established in 1973 to provide universal auto insurance to B.C. motorists. | Land Title Searches |
The purpose of conducting a land title search could be to confirm the registered owner and/or legal description of the land or restricted interests such as: legal notations; charges, liens and interests; undersurface rights; restrictive covenants, and pending applications. | Service BC Centres provide computerized title search information to the public, Crown, Crown agencies and taxing authorities. Fees Apply Service BC staff are able to conduct a search with a title number, parcel identifier number, legal description or a registered owner's name and can also conduct document searches for most titles. |

| Legal Change of Name Information and Registration | The Vital Statistics Agency also issues certificates pertaining to Birth, Death and Marriage Certificates, Marriage Licences, Vital Statistics in BC, Wills, Notices and Searches. Legal Change of Name Information and Registration can be applied for online. |

| Logging Tax Permits |
A person who sells logs, standing timber, cutting rights, or who acquires logs for manufacture, in British Columbia, may be subject to logging tax. A tax of 10 % is applied to the annual net income attributable to those transactions. Logging Tax paid is usually deductible as a credit, from federal and provincial income taxes, if claimed within 3 years of filing the income tax return. |
